Welcome in The Vault of Schemer.Land. Here you'll find a collection of illustrations from the older ages. The works here range from aquarel paintings, older comic pages, line art, maps and other stuff. Just look around. Not everything you see here is up to my current standards, but that's the point of the Vault, so I can show you where I am coming from, and how my style has evolved. You've got to respect your roots, after all. So buckle up, because it's going to be eclectic.
Ready? Let's just kick off with some aquarel style paintings.
Just scroll down and click at the artworks you want to take a closer look at.
Still here? Cool. That's about it for the watercolour stuff. It's kinda difficult to put everything in different categories, because of the variety of techniques and themes I used. (And my a mild obsessive compulsive disorder doesn't help either.) Anyway, the next section of The Vault will showcase starker territories, with less colors and the humor taking more of a backseat role. (And yes, I hope you noticed the humor in the first place. Just take my word for it)
So...keep on scrolling.
So far so good. Now it's time to show off some of my older comic art, because by now I've made a lot of comics and even though some are unpublished they are still worth taking a look. Below is the 8 page comic 'You're a Bullshit Salesman with a mouthful of Samples', based off the lyrics of the song with the same name from the hardcore punk band Death By Stereo.
Beyond those pages are some unfinished comic concepts, which are waiting for a revival.
There is more down below, my friends.
And here is the bottom of the Vault. Or is it? There are secret areas on this website after all. Before that, you can take a closer look at the maps and map-inspired illustrations below.
That's all in the Vault. Congratulations! You reached the bottom of the well.
